Ms.
Joelyn Alfred initialized her involvement in the Narcotic treatment
Field in 1993. Ms. Alfred is a native of Los. Angeles, California, and
has always pursued interests that were relative to helping others modify
their behaviors and attitudes.
At the age of 18, Ms. Alfred was determined to establish a flourishing career in the counseling field, and knew that it was essential that a sound educational base was established. Therefore, with great success, Ms. Alfred has obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Spelman College; Masters of Science from Fort Valley State College; National Certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors; National Opioid Treatment Clinician Certification from NOTCA; Risk Reduction Instructor's License from the Prime of Life Institute and other educational certificates. All of these educational opportunities have enhanced her ability to facilitate and provide comprehensive treatment to consumers.
Presently, the ongoing challenge of being the President of the Opioid Treatment Providers Coalition and the Clinical Director/Program Administrator of Lakeland Centres is most stimulating, and for more than 15years her active participation in the addiction field has been invigorating. It is her lifetime oath to always be aware of legal and ethical issues relative to the industry and consistently promote professionalism at all times.
Her goal: To always strive for quality health care and provide exceptional service and support to The Opioid Treatment Providers of Georgia, the community, and most of all to the consumers.

Ms. T. A. Gosa is a military retiree that currently serves as the Program Manager for The Center of Renewed Promises in Newnan, Georgia. Mrs. Gosa received her BA in Sociology from Paine College, Augusta, Georgia. She received her M.Ed. in Criminal Justice from Troy University, Troy, Alabama, and is presently an adjunct faculty member at the Augusta campus. She is a Certified Master Opioid Treatment Clinician through NOTCA, Inc. and actively participates in the GA HIV Early Intervention Services program.
Mr. Nat Nwizu has been working in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health for more than 20 years in both the In-patient and Out-patient services. He started working in the Methadone program in 2001 and is currently the Program Administrator at GPA Treatment, Inc. in Doraville, GA. He has a Masters degree from Atlanta University and is also a Certified Addiction Specialist and a licensed DUI Instructor for 11 years.
Ms. Stacey Pearce began working in the substance abuse field in 1995.
Ms. Pearce was Program Director at GPA Treatment, Inc. from 1998 to 2002.
Under her direction that facility became one of the first CARF accredited
opioid treatment programs during the pilot project stage. Currently
she is the President and Program Director of GPA Treatment of Macon,
Inc. located in Macon Georgia. Ms. Pearce earned her Bachelor degree
in Public and Social Services from Kennesaw State University in 2000
and is a Certified Addiction Specialist.
